problem w/ hook-up on AIC

Ok heres the deal I plow for a buddy of mine, he has a 97 f-450 PS (I think a 8-97 build date) When I plug the AIC in it won't let me idle up. I have the brake depressed and am doing it the same way I do on the rest of the trucks. we have 1 in a 95 ps, a 01 ps and a 03 ps this is the only one we cant get to work. The other think is, is this idle controller works in the other trucks, and the only difference is this one dose not have the pto option on the controller. Any idea. Thaks

Re: problem w/ hook-up on AIC

When you apply the parking brake, does parking brake light come on? A few times mine would act the same way and I noticed the indicator light was'nt on, loose connecter at switch. The PCM needs this signal to close the loop and engage AIC functions.

Re: problem w/ hook-up on AIC

I did not hook my aic to ebrake, I know it a safety isue to hook to ebrake but i did not hook ebrake, still works great, i did not want to have to apply ebrake so my AIC would work, now i can even use it for cruise controll,

The ebrale light comes sometimes, other times you have to mess with the cable a little. I am wondering if I do the same a shendoa did that would by pass the whole thing. How did he do it though
