Don't do it!!!!! take the system off and throw it away. Propane is extremely bad for any motor. Granted it will give you quite a few extra ponies but in the end its not worth it. It puts extreme strain on the rings and pistons and can eat away at the valves over time. Its almost like shooting a big shnorter of either in the motor. You can regulate it at a low pressure to give you some more power without hurting much though if you really want it.

That is good to know since I have been running a Propane System for over 160,000 miles and 8 years......
This is a PowerShot 2000 system, it works very good
to be honest i dont know much about it and i havnt had the time to tinker with it yet. like i said it is on a truck that a buddy gave me. will have to ask him when i see him or try to figgure it out by removing it. how safe is it to unhook my self?

i think superchips has a digital propane injection system that is supposed to work pretty good. it only injects when certain parameters are met to keep from damaging engine.

removing is safe just remove the propane bottle first... and plug any holes for the injection
