Propane injection mpg - Diesel Forum

I have read that propane injection will increase mpg even after factoring in the amount of propane used. Has anybody here used propane injection and seen a significant increase in milage? It would be nice to run a low propane pressure just to increase gas milage. Steve

Yes, if used correctly, propane can be a great, inexpensive increase in power, and in mpg (about 1-3 is what I averaged). When using it you should have gauges, especially a pre-turbo egt, because pane will increase your exhaust temps, especially when towing...................Dave

You might want to talk to our friend "Quadzilla" as he keeps all his stats regarding his Powershot2000 propane injection he has on his truck. He's had it for some time now, and has a real nice setup!
