pyro install

has anyone ever pulled the steel tube that runs from the front of the
pass. side exhaust manifold to the ebp sensor and installed their pyrometer in there? since i have my ebpv gutted already the sensor, and there for the tube, aren't really doing anything so i figured it would be a whole lot easier to do that rather than drill and tap a hole in the backside of the driver's side manifold like people usually talk about doing. now, i haven't installed a pyro yet but i'm probably going to the next free weekend i get and figured this would be a good route to go.

Re: pyro install

I think it's pretty well settled that the best route to go is directly into the exhaust manifold as near to the combustion process as possible.

The install is really not difficult, especially with instructions and photographs such as Dale Isley's (TYMAR) on his WebShots.
