Recipe for 4" Downpipe?

I know this isn't normally done on a 94-97 rig, but what does it take to get the full 4" downpipe on there?

99+ turbo? 99+ EBPV? body lift?

, D60 swap, straight pipe, turned up fuel screw

Re: Recipe for 4" Downpipe?

IMO, if you want to waste your time I don't see the need for it. Some have pulled the engine and cut the floor others have just flexed the body with a lot of work. Body lift would make it a lot easier but you won't gain that much with a 4inch dp. Your money would be better spent on a H2E turbo.

Re: Recipe for 4" Downpipe?

you can use your turbo, but you remove the ebpv completely, cut it up, use the turbo mount flange from it and a dp flange from a superduty and weld a reducer between them or use the dp flange from your stock dp and weld it onto the 4" dp

Re: Recipe for 4" Downpipe?

I was given the 4" MBRP kit for a 99+ as a gift. I'm sure I can get it exchanged, but since I have the 4" now....

Removing EBPV is another mod I want to do!

So does the 99+ turbo flange bolt directly in place of the stock EBPV? Is it 3.5" or 4"? I should be able get a chunk of downpipe and a turbo flange without much fuss - I have some friends in autowrecking
