Re: Remote Start

Since no one has answered...

I'm not going to pretend to be an expert, BUT, I just installed a remote start on an 05 Cavalier. Some of the guys at Colorado Powerstroke Club use the crimestopper remote start as wells as a clifford remote start. The one I put in for the 05 Cavalier has a diesel jumper and is from BOA security (WalMart special). Sometimes these remote starters can auto-start and auto-stop the vehicle in cycles throughout the night to keep it warm on those very cold winter nights. Sorry I can't you any more than this.

I may put one in mine since I don't have an option to plug it in anymore (in an apartment).

Re: Remote Start

I have a viper 791xv system in both my trucks. The system is a 2 way remote start/alarm system. For our trucks you will need a few extra parts not included with the system. Ill give you a parts list if need be. You can find them pretty cheap around the internet. I got each system for under 200. www.hookedontronics.com is where I got em. If you decide to install yourself and need any help feel free to ask me.

Steve

There is a kit available in the forsale section right now. Check out the electronics section.
