Looks like my Cummins conversion may soon begin! Will exhaust kits from a Super Duty work on an OBS ('95 CC SRW 4x4 PSD)? I'm looking for a dual 4" exhaust, preferably without the mufflers but I can't find any for the OBS and its either see if the undercarriage of a SD is close enough to the OBS to work or have it custom built. Thanks!
From all the trucks I've looked under, it seems to me they are very close from the rear muffler bracket back, and forward of that there may be small hanger placement differences.
Look up Craigpsd on here, he made his own dual exhaust that exited at the bumper corners.

CaryT and Masami have built for OBS duals. Diamond Eye. Also sold by Jones Full Boar and a couple other private labels. I have seen others adapt SD exhaust too. I with there was 3" since the flow would be about equal to 5" single and the tire clearance would be easier!

I modified a SD stock exhaust to fit an IDI truck once....never again. To make it fit and use the stock IDI hangers, the pipe hangers had to be cut and rewelded, the muffler cut and turned and the tailpipe heated and bent. It was definately not worth the effort, but I couldn't find a 94-97 PSD exhaust. I think if it where a kit where you were able to manipulate the location of the hangers and angle of pipes it may work.
Cheers.

Thanks for the replies guys. Finally, after waiting a year and a half, my Cummins conversion is going to start next Saturday and the guy doing it has a 4" pipe bender so all I need to do is get the piping from the Kenworth shop in town. I am so stoked!!!!!!
