SD Seat conversion

What would it take to put in a set of 60-40-60 (whatever the numbers are, lol) 08 SD leather seats in my 96 rig?
Thanks

If they are anything like the mounting for the seats from a PRE- 08 you will have to drill pretty much all mounting holes as they do not match up...Check Caryt's webshots for some pictures of his install...

Holes won't match but a BFH , drill and some flat bar stock you will be happy! See my webshots.

I think the process was a PITA to get them installed...BUT the end product was WELL worth it in my opinion...Seats are much better AND it adds a bit of an updated look to the cab as an added bonus.

One word of caution...In my case the seats from the SD sit higher than the stock OBS seats...(Head is closer to the ceiling with the SD seats). I am 6' tall and if I was much taller it would be a problem...

Yeah, I'm so used to it now that I forgot about that. I'm 6'2" and with the additional height I sit pretty close to the roof. And with an overhead shelf I dont need any sun visors, nor can I see the traffic light if I stop to close to an intersection.

Hell yes! Heated seats..gota love them! It took awhile to get used to the sitting height but now I like it better.

Only drawback is the seats don't tilt like the stockers so getting into the back I never carry extra passengers so its not a big deal but I need to see if I can mod it. Always something
