Re: SD turbo on a OBS???

You need the pedestal, up-pipes, collector, and I believe one of the exhuast manifolds to make it fit. I think you will be better off to find another turbo or rebuild yours.

Re: SD turbo on a OBS???

As KRP said, except you have the right manifolds already. The 94 and 95 drivers side is wrong. I have the BB turbo on the 95, and it was worth the swap. With the SD parts in place, you'll have three choices on turbo's(stock, BB, and TN).

Re: SD turbo on a OBS???

Much better alternative is to call Bean and order his direct bolt on. Should work sweet with those inj.

What kind of shape is that SD turbo in? If its decent sell it and put the money towards an upgrade.

Re: SD turbo on a OBS???

BCT on nwforddiesels did the swap. He had to REALLY modify the firewall to get it to fit. He also swapped in the SD fuel and supporting oil systems. It's possible...I've seen it (in October actually).

PSD

The turbo has like 100k on it....

TANKOTA

I really need to get a SD HPOP to run my injectors, the CEL comes on in the first setting if I wind it out!!!!!
Modifing the firewall...how much??? like just a couple hits with a hammer or cutting and fabing???
