Seat belt chime

Ok I apologize this isn't diesel related. This is I have a stupid 17 year old that doesn't believe in wearing a seat belt. I was wondering if there's any crafty ideas how to wire up an obnoxiously loud siren if he's not wearing his seat belt. The car is a 96 honda civic.

I'm sure you can, but nothing he won't be able to mess with.
Here's a better one, install a 2 way dash cam that you can see if he wears it.

Unless the dash cam has a LONG range, it won't take him long to figure out how far away he has to be before he just takes it off.

If you want an obnoxious noise, maybe contact an alarm installer and ask about tapping into the seatbelt light circuit.

There's already a light on the dash, and a beeper in a module. Any decent alarm/stereo installer should be able to tie a siren into either of them for you, in such a way that it would be difficult for anyone else to disable or remove. Here's the wiring diagram:
