My truck is in my sig and I was thinking about putting in something to give me a bit of an edge, I will most likely be running stage 1s soon enough also. What are the tips/tricks about installing either of these, and also how do these systems run in out trucks? What about methane injection also?

better build that tranny if it aint already before anything. then i would do the injectors first. more edge for alot less money if you go diy. i have been thinking about water injection also though

If I were you I would try out some bigger injectors and some custom tuning first. That may change your mind about wanting NOS or propane.
Also like previously stated if your have your tranny built right it will also give you a huge performance gain

I've driven trucks with bigger jectors and i still feel like the truck lacks power in the mid range and on the highway, I'm just looking for something to pick it up in that range

i need a reliable truck all the time, thats why i was thinking spray or propane so i could just have the power when i needed it, and I have heard that past stage 1's and you start having to worry about reliabilty but i assume i could probably just use a multi chip and change the program when i need the extra power

hell suck it up and buy some hybrids, the extra money is offset by beign able to use stock everythign else, plus after a chip , you will toss any gas system you installed before. Powerstroke2000 layed down 390hp at BD's dyno with stock fuel ,oil, and turbo.

Need to get these guys fooling with reverse hybrids to expound on there findings. I have stage 1s I did not have a trans. I did injectors and a pretty agressive tune I now have a 4r100 and a P.I. stallion converter.I will be getting oil soon,If you do end up with some hotter inj. consider an intercooler. I will tell you this my truck is now reliable and a real kick in the butt to drive.

You dont want to use spray all the time, it will get very expensive. I pay 4.25-4.50 per pound and use somewhere around 1.5 lbs per 1/4 mile run with a small/med single stage system. Maybe go with some stage 1 or 2 injectors, beans bolt on turbo and like mentioned above tranny mods. If you go any larger than 2's you will most likely need to upgrade fuel system and add headstuds.
