? stack hole and bed reinforcement rail?

I'm getting ready to put the hole in the bed for my stacks.

My question is when cutting the hole in the bed, did you have to cut into the front crossrail under the bed.

Re: ? stack hole and bed reinforcement rail?

I did too, and I have a 110 gallon tank sitting right behind the stacks. At first I was worried about 1000 lbs in the front of the bed without that crossmember but its been like that for just about a year with no problems.
