Thats funny right their I am a trucker and I think stacks on a srw truck is kinda silly gotta have a dually(or a race truck LOL) to look right. That is a stretch as some people over due it. I was driving up in centrel Texas on Friday and some fool in a dodge (go figure) gets behind me and all I can see are his stacks they were fricken huge had to be 8"s and they were the bull hauler stacks on top of that.

Re: Stack Questions

like i said before its personal opinion. i do not like the stacks tall just maybe 3-4 inches above the cab to be seen but i love the looks of big stacks. if i could find a set of 8 inch miter i would get them

Re: Stack Questions

Well here again even on a big truck (Peterbilt) anything over 6" is just plain gawdy. Oh well to each his own.8" stacks = cartoon looking.

Re: Stack Questions

I think 8" look ok on live stock haullers and show truck only because they usally have a diffent look to them low and shinny. But all our KW's have 6" stacks. My stacks will be level with the cab and come up at the cab coners not all the way out to the edge of the bed so they dont poke outside cabs bodyline. I agree some trucks dont look good with stacks. If I dont like the finished product the will come off as fast as they went on.

Re: Stack Questions

Built my stacks frome the down pipe back from parts including the T in the bed 4 years ago before most the shops started selling kits.

Was the firs F350 dually in the area with 5" turn outs.
