Here is a link to the pictures of my stacks I got done last weekend. I know I posted that I would take pictures and do a write up on the fabrication of the plumbing, but no one seemed interested.
Materials I used
1. 36" turnout stacks from Chromeroom.com
2. 10' lenth of aluminized exhaust pipe
3. 14" stainless steel flex
4. four clamps
5. chop saw
6. grinder
7. dremel tool
8. stone age gas welder
9. drill
I did not buy- Splitter, 3-90* ells, 5"-3.5" reducer. I made all of these to save money.

Corvette Dash, 17 gauges, 8" black stacks, 63" flat top---> 36" sitting here waiting for paint. 1.305 Million Miles.
I don't know what I am doing, I just know I don't have time to do it.
Thanks dieselrod, I will get some better pictures of the smoke later on today. I will also get a short video clip with sound. Mabe pulling away from the camera in second gear? what do you guys want to see?

I have dial up so I never get to look at videos, they take days to load. but I am sure no one will say no to a video.

I have dial up too, its a pain. Me and my brother shot a couple of videos, but none of them turned out real good- just wasted about 10.00 worth of diesel. My brother voluntered to sit in the bed of the truck while I make a short run. He doesen't know what he's in for, he will find out the hard way I quess I don't know how to edit out cussing and choking on a video though. I think filming out the rear split window will be the best angle. That will be tomorrow the battery is dead. Sorry about the wait. soon.

Those look AWESOME dude. I also think you have a SWEEEETT truck. I love how shortbed extended cabs and shortbed crew cabs look. Well you're on dialup, but if you want, I do some video editing on occasion and I could fix up that cussin' and chokin' from your video if you could get it to me.

Yes I am the same guy that was doing "project budget stacks", but there seemed to be a lack of interest, so I didn't go through with it. The total cost was about 260.00 with 5" from the dp to the stacks. If you want more information I would be happy to share what I did and where I tried to save money. I know I saved well over 150.00 without buying 90*s, splitter, and reducer.

There is now a video in the pictures link. Doesen't show the smoke real well, but the sound is good.
