I just installed some stage3 injectors now the truck is reving up to red line by its self an back to normal runnig. could it be one of the injector is sticking open,,and should I reinstall the stock injectors till I solve the problem. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif[/img]

any way have you driven the truck yet or is it redlining at startup?
Where did you get the injectors from? I would get ahold of them before you pulled them. Also remove your tuner and see what happens then.

I got the injectors off the diesel stop for sale used minn-me's from one of our members can't get a hold of him as of now,,maybe out of town. I ran the truck with out the edge of 15 miles then installed it to see some black smoke then it started acking up,,I removed the Edge and ran the stock setting seemed fine saturday.Then today It started up again after about 10 mins of driving it. So I removed the battiery cables for 1/2 hour hopping to reset computer still reving up by itself So I was thinking the injectors are sticking

right inj's with right programming?I.E. splits with split programming and singles with singles.I know my 02 does this when I run singles on split shot programming not redline but it has a mind of its own while running with the wrong programming.

edit I had it wrong it is singles with split shot programming
I was told by DI diesel which made the injectors that I could Run the injectors on a stock setting it would just ideal different

Well when I had the edge on it the smoke was black but on the stock setting no smoke just high reving for about 5-10 secounts then back to normal till it starts again which is not to long ,,I wounder if it could be my AIC I made from one of the forms

Its kinda scarry when your driving and it happens ,,it like the peddel to the metal ,,had to turn the key off to keep it under control
and when I restart it ,,It right back to were it left off like it is cycling itself,,

I disconnected the AIC and its still doing it but when I drive the truck on the freeway it seems fine so its basicley an idel problem.
when I first installed the aic I was blowing the 30namp fuse under the hood so I went with a 40 amp fuse..Its the large fuse that has something to do with the wait to start light on the dash could it be something with the computer or sensor to make the truck rev high at a Idel
