Tobin, i appreaciate your offer i completely forgot you live so close and your offer in one of my other threads (now archived). Any reccomendation of a good shop would help alot, The shop i am currently talking to is "Ron's Auto" on old cheney (just off colonial between university and semoran). Whats the word on them, i got them reccomended to me by a teacher. I have a lot on my plate right now school is busy and as long as the truck is getting me from point A to point B for the time being i kind of have to push it to the back burner. I think my load is lightening up a little bit this month and i hope to get this outa the way as well as a few other small things.
I appreciate all the other responses too, some great advise has come out of this, and i have used a lot of when talking to the guy, but money is a very limiting factor, in that basicly my parents will be paying for it until i graduate and can pay them back (along with the other 50k for school) i know they would pay for whatever i think is right or i need, but it kills me enough to live off them. So sending it to Richter or BTS or probably even having someone build me a custom tranny localy is probably out. maybe in 4 years when im a millionare and do a frame up restoration from my quite barn in a small town in CT. Tobin im gonna dig up that contact info and email you tonight.

Yes, I have some babies from SWAMPS. I tell you what they were a nice upgrade. I also got a 6 POS chip from them with Bills custom burn, TS-fuel 7, and Jody Tiptons custom burns. I think with bills burn one truck dynoed over 350 of course he had some other supporting mods. Truck runs like hell. Just got to be careful in the rain. Almost impossible to drive in any of the custom burns. Tires just lite up, even at 45-55 MPH and thats not even punching it just trying to speed up. Tranny is holding up well I must admit. I just dont like the shifting on it, mainly in the higher gears. 1-2 and 2-3 are perfect. Just doesnt down shift when I want it too or fast enough. also 3-4 is kinda weak to me. The tranny is holding up though. I know plenty of guys that have trashed them within a couple of weeks of installing the babies.
