In an earlier post "searching for a miss" I did several things;
1) cleaned and installed new o-rings on the IPR.
2) checked all wiring connections on the VC, injectors and Glow Plugs.
3) Installed new Gp's
4) after I installed the CCV mod I was still getting oil into my IC so I ran the hose from the CCV out the back.
The truck seems to run ok although I have not had it under load.
Now when I run the truck and coming up to a stop sign it will put out a lot of blue smoke. Sometimes when running slow it will do the same. However running down the hwy or at idle it does not smoke at all.
Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this, it never did this before??
As always your help is greatly appriciated.
Terry

I found my problem. It is so stupid I hate to admit it. When I ran the hose from the top of my catch can to the rear of the truck I turned the top pvc cap to the rear but didn't think to drill a hole in the pvc like the hole in the cap with the fitting in it.
So there was no crank case vent. fortunately the cap was lose enough to allow some pressure to escape but was also putting pressure on the injector o-rings I assume. I took the cap off drilled a hole and it quit smoking.
I just hope I didn't hurt anything else with this bunch of stupidity!
