Turbo Housing Change Easier With Transmission Out?

Hello,

I have read that it is a lot easier to replace the up pipe donuts when the transmission has been removed. Is it also a lot easier to change out the turbo housing with the transmission out? I am going to have to remove the transmission to replace a seal, and thought about changing to a 1.0 A/R housing at the same time if it was a lot easier to do.

It won't make much if any difference. The turbo has to come off to change the housing. Only thing I can think is it may be easier to bet to the back bolts on the pedistal without the tranny or up-pipes.
