Upgrades

what would be some other good upgrades for my truck? i know i need a air intake but what kind is good?

I see you have an Edge unit. Hows that workin for ya? The two units i had were nothin but grief. Wouldn't run right.

I see alot of guys going with the wildmans programmed chip an adjustalble on the fly unit. This seem more logical that the programmer unit. (Woops I forgot too reprogram for whatever and left the programmer at home). Just turn the dial and you can adjust to whatever your programmed to do. Be it better milage, towing, high idle or killing mustangs. But like the prevous post above. Depends on what your needs or desires are.

Stick with the Tymar Performance intake..its cheap $150 or so. Like ArrowheadJim said get a TW chip..about $450. THen theres always MORE if you have the cash to burn! Good Luck!

I went and did the do it your self filter. But after all is said an done the Tymar would be the way to go. I mean the DYI works fine. But you have to round up the parts...Filter, clamps, tubing, muffler clamp for the filter. When it's all put to gether and your time and fuel. You may as well just get the kitted Tymar. Hey and it looks better than my exhaust tube? And for what its worth I didn't realize any amazing benifits from the change. But the issues with the stock air box is reason enough to change. And the access to the battery.
