Upgrading Turbo...

Hello everyone... Well...after a long time away from my truck... I am back Stateside and looking at doing some things to the truck... I have a friend who is selling a 1.00CM housing for our turbo's... He has told me that it will increase boost by 5-10 pounds and lower the turbo lag time... My question is... Changing this housing... Am I going to create a lean condition or damage the engine? I use this truck to tow two trailers 24 foot enclosed and a 44 foot enclosed.

I am going to also do a turbo back exhaust either 3-4 inch... Turbo is first...

Thoughts...concerns...

BTW - Its a 1996 F350. 240K miles. Stock with a rebuilt top-end. Stock Injectors.

if you plan to stay with stock injectors the 1.0 housing should be fine. if you plan on bigger injectors, it might be a problem.

ON EDIT: if you do bigger injectors in the future, you"ll probably upgrade the whole turbo anyway,(D66 or H2E) so i say go for it!
