Van turbo vs PU turbo?

Anyone know if the pre 99 van turbo and the pre 97 PU turbo is the same? I know both have the non WG 1,15 ex. housing...at least i think i know
Looking for a turbo upgrade for my van as the stocker finaly's worn out.
Please educate me..

Re: Van turbo vs PU turbo?

I don't know, just seems like I've head on here the van turbo's didn't have the EBPV, of course that would mean the only difference there would be the pedistal and the outlet housing, the the turbo would still be the same, I'm pretty sure they are the same otherwise, maybe someone in the know, not the might know will chime in...

Re: Van turbo vs PU turbo?

Thanks.
Got hold of a guy with a '97 van today. I compared his turbo with mine, and they're not the same The exhaust inlet on the '97 is square (T3 flange?) while it's round 4" v-band style on mine . (That's the only difference)
Now I wonder how the flange on the D66 is like????????? Or what style the flange is on a 97 PU for that matter...
I've tried to e-mail Bean, but he has'nt replied yet

Re: Van turbo vs PU turbo?

E-mail Bean some picture of your turbo and he will be able to give you a yes or no answer...He probably wants to be sure of what you have before having to swallow shipping costs to you on any misunderstanding/misinterrupted parts...

I would
