in his descripton he states:

he does not return emails and he does not cair about "satisfaction". he is satified with the money not with you.... jsut a warning

I think that everybody on this site has been laughing at that item ever since he first started placing them on Ebay. Too bad it sounds like you got burned on it.

don't feel bad, I bought one about three years ago. It worked well except i would throw a CEL in the two highest settings. i no longer need it. Thanks Tony, you are the man

So are you saying we shouldn't buy anything from EBAY because you made a mistake?

Ebay has been good to me...a barely used GTP-38R for $505. A Cummins N14 ECM for $407...Heavy duty junk yards wanted $1250-$1500 and Cummins wants $2700 for a Reman.

I could name some other good deals...but those two show the potential Ebay has to saving real money. I've only been burnt once...for $15. There are ways to protect yourself from bad sellers.

I had bought one of his controllers also. It made my truck run like crap. As I turned it to the higher performance levels the worse it ran. I emailed him and he said that my truck was probably to wore out at 165k miles or I didn't install it right. I unhooked it and used the superchips controller and the truck runs great. He doesn't give refunds. At least it was only a $85 life lesson, Oh well.

Personally, I appreciate the warnings about bad ebay sellers. There are too many options when it comes to buying items off of the internet that anytime we can rule one of them out it makes it all that much easier....so thanks for the tip. I won't buy anything from someone who doesn't have the decency to stand behind their products.

I think its best to buy from the sponsers and local shops (if they are good and trustworthy). Sponsers make this site possible, and you never know when you may get into a bind and need some help from your local shop.
