So far, so good. They're bias, so handling is a little off; and they're real prone to flat spotting overnight - takes 6-7 miles to smooth 'em out.
But get this - I mounted them myself (since local shops wanted $20+ to mount oversize tires) - and did a trick I read about elsewhere - I put a half pound (8 oz) of airsoft BBs in each one.
0.20 grams - 5000 in a box - 1 kG or 2.2 pounds split 4 ways.
I will never pay anyone to mount and balance big tires again.
Try it - it works - I can run 70 on the interstate, smooth as silk.
And, I think due to the big center rib, these tires are no louder than most AT tires and a lot quieter than that set of 35" BFG Mud Terrains I ran.
I too put these tires on my truck, even after the reviews from here. Just thought you would like to know that I have about 12,000 miles on mine (bought brand new). There would most likely be enough tread left to last another 3000-5000 miles, but im trying to get a new set of the 37" military radial version due to the amount of towing I do. By the way what pressure are yours at mine are 32 front 30 rear (currently)

Interesting idea with the air soft BB's....I know there are products out there that do the same thing but I like the "find your own way" route...nice goin

how exactly does this work? i also mounted my 315's a few months ago. i used the trick where you spray the inside of the wheel with ether then give yourself a trail and light it...pretty scary but it works really good!

psdan000 - they'll sling out and stick where they need to. I guess the tire bouncing from out of balance moves 'em around.
I had a buddy at work with 315s on a cummins that he put that Equal powder stuff in. It was $15 a tire though. I read about the Airsoft BBs on another forum in an Equal thread and decided to give it a try.
the last one - from the bottom of the stack - took FOREVER to seat. I ended up dousing the entire inside of the rim AND the inside of the tire with ether; and even then I had to stand it up. It'd just barely seat laying down and fall back off before I could get the air chuck on it.
I found that carburetor cleaner worked better; it didn't burn as long as ether and had a tad less umph. I didn't launch a single one into the air, except that last one.
radarman - they flat spot terribly. but my truck is not a daily driver no more so it ain't that big a deal
I too have the flat spots that prevent going 35-40mph at first more or less than that no problem. never happened untill 7,000 miles in when the outside center tread became a soild ring.
