Wheel bearing help.

So on my way to work this morning my front drivers side wheel bearing started squaking at me. I have it all tore apart now. Now the main question is how do you remove and install the new races or whatever the proper name is?
Thanks

The autoparts stores probably rent a slide-hammer/bearing puller kit, although when I changed out mine I just used a brass drift punch.

When I didn't have the right tools I used a punch or a big flat blade screwdriver & I tapped them out then when I was ready to install the new races I just tapped them back in. I was very careful not to ding anything. Use alot of high temp grease!! I just replaced the front bearings last weekend on my 96PSD & replaced the 4X4 Hubs as well.

Hey guys when you re-pack the bearings, say there isn't any grease on the spindle or in the hub, would you recommend smearing a bunch on the spindle and in the hub? If so, how much?
