Dont want to spend and arm and leg but I would like to upgrade my Exhaust and down pipe does, The only performance mods I pland on Doing is Exhaust, Intake and Superchips tuner.

I did a before and after on the dyno, and the scmt 1705 only gave 11hp max. Save your money and buy a real chip. I did this run before injectors. Al

mcavaselis -- Check out T&J Diesel Performance on eBay. They have exhaust kits with and without mufflers and for October, there is $10.00 off each kit.

Just had the Tymar exhaust put on, and really like it. Installed well with no major problems, and sounds great. Dale is great to work with. Talk to him about what you want before you buy anything, and he'll set you up!

Chgeck out the MBRP systems, complete for the turbo back in aluminized and or stainless steel. A muffler packed with ceramic blanket and stainless steel wool, welded hanegrs where possible anbd a one piece tail pipe too that looks OEM. Costs a bit more, not enough to make much difference in the long run and the quality is top notch! Call us if you have any questions etc.

I don't have any pictures, I'll try to get some and figure out how to post them. I've been wanting to post some pictures anyway.
The exhaust exits just like the stock pipe. I splurged and bought a stainless slash cut tip to go on it. The exhaust comes to fit a DRW, so the tail pipe will need to be cut off if your working with a SRW.
Went up real easy, looks good, sounds good. It's not stainless but down here in Ga. were not having to deal with a lot of salt on the roads, so exhaust systems tend to last usually longer than most vehicles.

I am looking at this T&J on ebay.
The price is good. Just how difficult is this to install? I have never messed around with anything like this before. Should I worry at all?
Right now my 1997 has the turbo downpipe feeding into the cat. The muffler has been removed and it is just pipe out of the back. This kit would just go straight on?
I kind of like the sound of the glass packed muffler; how much performance and fuel economy would I lose by opting for a glass packed muffler as opposed to straight pipes? How does that powerstroke sound through a glass packed?
