Will I have problems with my springs?

Chris95F350's profile on webshotsHey folks I did my rsk about two months ago and removed some of the leafs in the superlift springs up front to make the truck sit more level.I have had no problems and it rides WAY better but it has had kind of a w shape in the springs since I did it.Just wanting thoughts and opinions on whether the springs will hold up.["

I would never remove leaf's adding is OK but removing removes wt. capacity. Get new springs.

Well I did pick up some v codes just in case.I know this has been beat to death but since I already have my rsk mounted what do I need to change to fit the superduty springs . What holes do I need to drill out and to what size? Also with using the v codes how is it going to change the position of the wheel in the well and the pinion of the axle?

You'll need to move the front RSK spring hanger forward 3 5/8" - 4" and that will put your axle very close to the stock location. This assumes you put he double wrap forward (as most recommend).
The SD spring bolt sizes are 18 mm on the double wrap side, 15 mm on the single side. You'll need to drill out the front hanger to 18mm (double wrap side) and the shackles to 15mm. You can get the bolts from Ford, but they are kinda pricey. Some will drill everything out to sae sizes since it's much easier to find sae hardware & drill bits. If you go metric and need drill bits, you can find them on Amazon for a reasonable price...

Yeah you need to either put what you took out or replace the springs with the SD springs you have. Your putting a lot of stress on those remaining springs that they weren't designed to take

No change to the wheels if you locate the front RS hanger forward 4"+- This will not change the pinion or castor at all.
Either use the SD bolts or drill all for std grade 8 bolts. Use a adj track bar to recenter your axel! If you need shocks...Bilsteins.
I have pics on my webshots.

I didn't notch the bumper..just moved it forward 4" You could notch it to keep the arch linded up. Other option is a custom bumper...I just never have had the time to make one.

well I decided to just angle them since I already had the holes there and did'nt want to drill to many more.I am going to have to go back and put the leveling kit back on the front cause it sits almost 2 inches lower now.Have any of you guys made your own track bar?
