Wrong Drop Pitman Arm - Diesel Forum

I had a drop pitman arm sent to me along with the RS Kit from Sky about a month back. When I did the install this weekend, all went well

, except for the pitman arm. Pull off the old one and noticed the 4 larger "keys" on the shaft splines were orientated approx 45* from those on the pitman arm that was sent to me. (new ones were at 12:00, 3:00, 6:00, & 9:00. Old ones were 1:30, 4:30, 7:30, & 10:30). Anybody else have this issue? I thought I'd check here before calling up sky to get a different one.

Check my sig for a couple shots of the RS progress last weekend. I had some little helpers out there with me.

Anyhow, I sent an email to SKY-Manufacturing today to see what they think. tried calling but the line has been busy.

Just wanted to finished this thread out.

I got ahold of Sky and they sent out the correct pitman arm and had UPS pick up the wrong one from my house. Matt from Sky is who I dealt with and he was very helpful. Great customer service in my opinion. Just wanted to share that with everyone here. I wouldn't hesistate to buy from them agian.
