1992 f350 4x4 problems - broke gear selector plate - need the name or part no.

This is interesting - finally my first diesel, and I like it. Used, nut runs great. Here is the big problem:
The 4X4 shift, situated in the cab, is loose. It will go on 4 hi or 4 low but to getit back to neutral, I need to get under the car and play with it. I other words, my 4x4 stick is loose because is missing a plate to guide it in gears and out of it. I don't have any idea how is called, I do lnow how it looks (found one in junkyard, couldn't take it off), I believe is a 4x4 selector plate or guide plate but unfortunnelly, i could not find this part.
If anyone has any idea how it looks like and knows a part no. or a name for it, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
1992 Ford F 350, 7.3 L , 5 speed manual, 280K. miles and running like new - 20+mpg on homemade biodiesel!
