1992 ford f-250 7.3L diesel

As i said , i have a 92 ford f-250 with a naturally aspirated 7.3L diesel and i am having an injector problem. i would appreciate it if someone could tell me the right injector to purchase. the truck was built in may of 1992 and has the serpentine belt on it. if anybody can tell me the ford part number or another good reliable place to purchase it and their part number that would be great.

Midwest Fuel Injection and DIS (Diesel Injection Service) are about the best to deal with. Others will bring up others soon. Why do you think you need a set of injectors?

i am not a big buff on MWFI, i have seen to many pump problems in the last few months. i have no issues with DIS, and used Dieselcare.net in my shop. both have good products. if you are buying new show for the best price. if you are buying used buy only from and Association of Diesel Specialists Dealer with good standings. they set a standard of all diesel repair and services worldwide.

If your only getting injectors the MWIF web page has new injectors for your 92.

As far as MWIF and bad pumps I've not heard too many complaints here over the past 2 years, but if there was it was handled with next day service which is what you would expect from any IP dealer.

Re: 1992 ford f-250 7.3L diesel

I think i need new injectors becayse it is running rough and smoking at an idle. when i give it some gas all of that seems to clear up so i think maybe one injector is not producing like it should and also it has 230,000 miles and i have owned it since 130,000 miles and i have never replaced them. I just won't give up on this truck because it don't give up on me, i have never had a lick of trouble either. i am also thinking about putting a new fuel pump as well, so any information on that would be appreciated. thanks for the last reply.

Re: 1992 ford f-250 7.3L diesel

Please be so kind as to put much needed info in your signature, go to "My Home" at the top of the page then "Personal info" click "Edit" put "all known" particulars for your truck/van in the signature block, any other info you feel worthwhile in other parts of this area. Fill in the "geographic location" too it is just as important, members can then direct you to the best known suppliers for parts, repairs, fuel etc closest you by location/ area/country. You could be just around the corner from a member willing to assist you or a parts store with what you need..
THANK YOU
