1994 Ford F-250 - Cam Shaft / RPM Sensor issue?

1994 Ford F-250 - Cam Shaft / RPM Sensor issue?

When my RPM's are very low (like when I take my foot off the accelerator pedal to stop for a light) the RPMs go to zero and it disengages the transmission overdrive.

While I never feel it (as I am in the process of slowing down and not in overdrive), does this point to future issue with the sensor or is this a common issue?

Should I be concerned with the above, and if so, how much effort to repair this?

Thanks!

It's probably a problem with the sensor or the connector. I just pasted the sensor test recently in another thread.

IDI has RPMS, only PS has CPS.
