no the pipe doesnt need to--but--they like to weld themselves into the turbo--or the exhaust manifold--and only the blue wrench will get it loose--been there, when i put the ats parts on--ford designers--

94 f250 idi turbo sc e4od alum fac rims 149,289 --dana 60 frt with posi--10.25 rear w/posi--shouldnt get stuck!! ats turbo 3" parts on--what a diff from stock turbo!!!!!--- also 96 F250 with 305,000 is fixed!!-- 7.3 rattler-also 85 6.9-needs new engine!! tired!!
The head bolts are torqued in three steps. First step is 65 ft/lb. Second is 90 ft/lb, and the last step is 110 ft/lb. Do you know the torque sequence?
sequence im guessing is about the same as a powerstroke or any of the cummins i work on everyday....start in the middle and work out in a clockwise direction...thanks!
