89 ford truck instrument panel ground

Been having gauge problems for some time now (inop tach, and fuel, eratic temp and the usual oil). Figured I could use a better ground. When I removed the gauge cluster there was no indication as to where I could put a ground wire. Has this been addressed before? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

So it seems as if I have stumped ya. So in that case does anyone know which wire or wires are for the ground in the harnesses on the back of the pannels?

Col I will try and email a pic to you...... it is of the 90 dash but most likely the same.

There appears to be at least 6 grounds from instruments on the cluster so there should be at least one major point of contact. IIRC you have the flexible sheet with copper inlay for the power and ground contacts....

Sorry I do not have your email addy PM it to me.........
