need your thought on putting money into improving the engine i have now.it has 134K on it and runs great,just geared too low for the driving i do.410 rear.is it worth it to spend 2500in to a turbo system or not?i know i can do larger exhaust,355 rear to get better milage.i do mainly long distance running and dont do any hvy hauling.would like better response on take offs which i think a rear could help me there.i read a lot of you have put turbos on and like the improvement,but many are doing heavier hauling then me.let me hear from both sides.trans is e40d.

Changing the rear diff ratio to 3.55s would get you around 19-20 mpg. Easiest would be to get a complete axle assembly from bone yard. I think the 91 E4OD still had the mechaincal speedo cable. But you can get new driven gear for 3.55s from Ford Stealership for around $6.00, I think. OkieG
