Check the neutral safety switch and the clutch safety switch. The juice to the solenoid goes from the starter switch thru those two and on to the solenoid. Also check for power at the two heavy yellow wires on the starter switch. These are hooked to fusible links that attach to the battery side of the solenoid, if those burn out there is no power to the key switch to start the truck. They should both have power all the time.
