If the donor trucks turbo isnt worn out, yes. Check end play on the turbo shaft by pulling it in and out. Also move it side to side, if it contacts the housing, rebuilt it.

It should be a fairly straight forward process..swap the valve cover, put the turbo version manifolds on and all the plumbing up to the turbo and the downpipe. Might take a tad of modifying to the exhaust pipe to get it right. You will need an oil line up to the turbo. I am not sure where the oil comes from. Other than those items, it should work. Oh, and you might have to turn your IP up to really get some benefits.

Make sure its an IDI...the PSD turbo will not work.

Anthony

Have fun with all the rusty hardware on the exhaust manifolds and turbo piping. Expect to replace most if not all of it.

Nope. The psd turbo mounts on the block itself and theres just not the same geometries to get it right. They also get oil differently not to mention that they create much more boost and aren't wastegated.

Yes ive been busy lately Gotta have money to pay for what goes into my fuel tanks :P

The PSD came out in 1994.5

Theres not a whole lot of 1994 PSD's around. Mine is one of them.. 1994 f250 powerstroke. I have already gotten the wrong parts at parts stores that have been very accurate in getting the right stuff. I actually have to work now to get the right parts!!!

And whys that? They are essentialy the exact engine thats in the 1998-2003 super duties. The 1994 and 1995 are slightly diffeerent because of the diagnostics system and the water pump but other than that, same engine.
