It all depends on the condition of the truck. Does it have mostly hiway miles or has it been used hard pulling a trailer? At that milage if it hasn't had work done you will be sticking some money in it shortly. My guess from what you described would be no more than $4500.00 and it would have to be fairly rust free. You can fix the other stuff but rust gets expensive to fix. I also noticed on edit that it's a two wheel drive, that would be worth less.

wow, I dont know what kinda conditions thats in, but (and i know i like stole it) I only paid 2K for my 92 4x4. (read my Sig.) That seams WAY too high! like I said it totaly depends upon condition. R those original miles? any prior work done? engine, trans, axle, etc. Need much more info to put an estimated price on that. Sounds like Blue Book retail price though. I will say that. mine books for like 4 or 5 RETAIL. Give us lots more info, EVERYTHING you know about it and where it is (dealer, private) then we can make a better judgement for ya! wow, must have been in perfect condition! Or quite a while ago. Inspections here really are not bad at all. Now Pensylvania on the other hand thats another story! Really as long as the lights work, the tires are good and the brakes are good, including the parking brake, just slap that sticker in the windshield n go!

WOW!! Prices are really high on that side of the country. I'm located in Spokane Wa and just bought 2 months ago. 1993 Ford F-250 Supercab 7.3 Diesel 4X4,185K, Auto, A/C, Cruise, 2 Sets tires and rims, (1 like new studded snows) New batteries, ball joints, tie rods, brakes in last year and paid $3700.00 I replaced the windshield for $60. Good luck whatever you decide.
That truck was a year and a half ago. Inspectins here only occu when a title is transferred from another state to this one. Then, it's a title inspection only. Vehicles here tend to retain value a lot better than other parts of the country, especially older 4x4 pickup trucks.
It seems like just about any diesel 4x4 is worth about 5k if it runs.

That looks like a real nice truck there. I love the wheels on it! ( Ive been looking for some wheels for mine) All I can tell ya is take it for test drive, n I mean a REAL test drive. I like to make sure I put em through a real world beat'n test drive. Thats how ive found out about bad brakes, n such. but from the sounds of it, n looks. I might offer 5500. I know the quality of southern stuff, I used to live in Maryland so i know the body is worth it. But like i said before, just look real close at the motor, trans and rear. with those kind of miles. I know I wouldnt want to get 2 months or so down the road n end up rebuilding an E4OD, or a rear. I think 3500 would be a real good price if everything is operational and in good order. 4K isnt too bad if its had a trans rebuild in the past 100K and 4500 is MY top dollar w/o looking at it first hand. but for 6K...... no way not for a 2wheel with 320K!. I work Auto auctions, n I know what that guy payed for it weather it was a trade in, or auction vehicle! Let us know if ya get anymore info or pictures, i'll blue book it later for ya! Good luck!

I need to edit that, I forgot it was 2 wheel drive after i had written everything else. and i just caught it. I would offer 4500.
Dont get me wrong, i dont want to steer ya away from it, but its just the miles that scare me, im not sure what a motor rebuild costs, a few grand ive heard, and 1800 for a trans rebuild. I would tell him what i told ya for the mid range price, and go from there. Blue book RETAIL value puts it at $6930, Private party in GOOD condition puts it at $4715, and trade-in, in GOOD condition is,$2585. If one were to roll through the auction block exactly like it, it would go for no more then $3000.
I saw a 97 f-350 CC stroker with hypermax intercooler kit, full pillar guages, Weld typhoons, and Goodyear 315-75-16.5 in perfect condition with weatherguard box, headache rack, XLT and 3 or 4inch down pipe, with 4 inch back straight pipe to a 4.5 inch SS tip go for $7500!!!!!!! (hehe i got to drive it too!!) I had the oportunity to buy it for 9K but my credit sucks, n i didnt have a co-signer!
Just an example of how much these dealers are really making on cars. so Dont let him jack u around!

For what it's worth, my 94XLT, Crew Cab, 4X4, full length bed, with running boards, CD, cruise, camper shell, etc., in good condition with 205,000 is worth $5,885 here in San Antonio. I don't know if that helps.
