My powerstrokes had tuners, intakes, exhaust, etc. Do they make anything for the IDI 7.3. I cant find anything online.

Welcome to IDIville. Our engine are NOT computer controlled so no performance chips. If your truck is non turbo then a turbo upgrade would be the way to go. Hypermax, Banks, ATS all make a complete system that will bolt on. If it is turbo'd then there are some turbo/intake/exhaust upgrades for you. you have a manual shifter so no tranny upgrades needed IMHO.. If you are going to haul/tow I would get a set of gauges. Pyro for sure..there are ways of "turning up the fuel" but not recommended without monitoring your EGT's.

you are not going to find much. idi'd are mechaically injected. no computer, therefore no tuners. is yours a factory turbo engine. they could be had without the turbo. if not, a turbo will wake the thing up. mine doesnt have a turbo, YET. mine is coming tomorrow. there isnt much for reliable performance injectors and pumps. someone on another site makes them. an intercooler will help keep the egts down so you can add more fuel which equals more power. a better intake and exhaust will help it breath more. if yours is a factory turbo, ats has a turbo upgrade that will REALLY help the choked factory turbo.
