97 powertroke in a 1990 f250 replaced 7.3 idi
I ran across a truck for sale that the owner swapped a idi for a 97 powerstroke. Has anybody done this before I might be able to get it inexpensive due to major problems in the front end and more little stuff. It would need a dana 60 looks like a 6" lift gone bad on the old twin I beam. It runs real good but I am concerned about pulling the codes and getting some of the gauges operational again!! I ran across somebody welded the dana 44 axles does anybody know who and how that is done?
