ABS light flashing

Saturday I was pulling a U-haul car trailer to Atlanta and half way there the ABS light started flashing. The light flashes 7 times, stays on for a second, flashes 7 times, stays on a second, and on and on. I continued the trip, loaded a car and drove 120 miles home. No problems, just the light flashes. The speedo & tach are both working and the truck shifts fine. Brakes also feel fine. Any ideas?

Re: ABS light flashing

I haven't been messing with any wires under the hood at all. But I did just get finished installing a Bronco roof console... I'll check fuse # 15.

It's just strange that it started after hooking up to the U-haul trailer.

Re: ABS light flashing

Did they just wire it to your lights or do you have a real trailer plug at the back......

Re: ABS light flashing

It was the stop lamps/ABS fuse. I noticed that my brake lights were out last night. Something on the U-haul trailer must have blown the fuse. After replacing the fuse, no problems at all.
