Re: All 87 to 93 IDI Guys What Do You Think???

I hear that brother. I've been looking for one the web sites I've been hearing about that make the cummins coversion adapters. I've heard of one called destroked.com but haven't been on there yet. Also a mech cummins with an NV4500 behind it wouldn't be bad either.

Still you got to love the IDI.
Marc

Re: All 87 to 93 IDI Guys What Do You Think???

Cummins is a good engine by any standards I think, but in the performance diesel world, i think they are just becoming too common. I guess thats what happens with a good platform like the 12 and 24 valve but to me after a while in diesel events it becomes "oh look another cummins"

I agree with you guys... got my first (my '88) and drove my dad's '90 for a while.....good trucks both...back in farm country( Monongahela Valley Pa) there were (and still are) several still wandering around...always there and aways working. I am new to posting on the board but I have already found your knowledge and insights are invaluable...
