i was messing with my trailer plug on my truck and i dont know what i did wrong, (ive rewired lights on difffent trucks SUCCESFULLY multiple times) but i blew my abs fuse and turn signal fuse. so i replaced them but my blinker fuse keeps blowing but even though my abs fuse is good now, my abs light is still blinking off and on off and on constantly.

dad said on the phone that "theres got to be a wire shorting out" or "a wire touching something it shouldnt." the problem is, my truck basically has `redneck wiring` and has multiple diffrent colors and diffrent sized wires all tieing into the trailer plug. i dont even know how the trailer lights worked at all in the first place...

i kinda just want to chop the plug off and get it rewired because its some messed up crap. hopfully i can find where or else im a sitting duck with no signals. (i have really really really REALLY bad luck when it comes to driving something illegal or doing something dumb) i cut some wires this morning that i had crimped together last night, (they looked like they were connected before). my dads going to put a fuse in today while im at school. didnt want to take the chance with cops all in the school zone

successful once again! i cut a wire that had re-conneced because i thought it was the original one from the truck. but it wasnt. then i realized my dad never replaced the abs fuse because the dash hides half of it, so after a short argument i was able to show him that there in fact IS a fuse for the abs on the fuse panel in the cab. thanks alot once again drinkypoo

doesnt the pick have a pointy end? it doesn't score the o-rings and lead them to breaking? what i did when i put o-rings on the one injector was use a finish nail from a nail gun and place it right next to the injector. then i rolled the o-ring down it and into the first groove but it scored two of them and they broke

the pick does have a point but you could put the o-ring around the pick first and then begin to slide the pick and o-ring down the injector and barely stretch out the o-ring when trying to get past the first o-ring.

odd... dont use a pick at all the put them on or a nail, just lube then up with somthing like vasoline and also apply it on the outside of the injector, then try sliding the first o-ring in the first groove, then attempt to roll the second over the first o-ring. (probably not appropriate, but its like rolling on a condom.)

THE KEY THING IS LUBRICATION

The danger of the seal pick is that you can stab the seal, which is why putting it over the pick first is a good idea.
