My other diesel is a...
Hydra 35-ton Excavator, 6V71T; Isuzu C201 genset;
'71 VanPelt Pumper, Cummins 855 Turbo

There used to be a link here, to some useful IDI-diesel tech info; but it was chopped out by others, in a vain attempt to repress the very essence of the internet: linking!
sigh...

Besides, the F-series has something the Dodge doesn't... a full crewcab.

You got that right... we are feeling it's effects or lack there of as the case maybe... With two kids (one stil in car seat) it gets a little cramped in there at times. I suspect we will be longing for the space of The E here in a couple of weeks as we are heading off on vacation.

Re: Almost lost the Truck

Mikes91,

You're right, we need to boycott many things to bring price increases to a halt at least.

My 93 listed for $27K and I got it for $21K I've drove it for many worry free miles, so I guess I've gotten my use out of it. $1750 per year avg. not to bad.

But, I want to keep it, so I'm going to increse the power.

Don
