Anyone have any experience with an aluminum radiator?if so, how'd it work out for you. I'm thinking of switching to one, need tips, thanks.

Cool I was wondering, it seems like it would run a little colder too

I installed a spectra aluminum unit in my truck (94-95 'strokes have the same rad) and it's been great thus far. It is Chinese, which I was less than impressed with thinking it was most likely Canadian when I bought it, but an IDI guy here, with many more miles on his, has one with no issues.
Another thing is the rows, If I remember right seems like my old brass copper had 3 or 4 and all the aluminium ones are two or three, does this make a difference or does the aluminium make up the difference, and which one did you go with?

While true, I recall reading somewhere that the OEM design was overly restrictive, and the "rows" were not optimal for cooling - seem to remember the Spectra's having more surface area per each row.

Well, I've been running my aluminum radiator for around 4 months now, and I love it. As far as the rows are concerned, it is a two row radiator. But one row in the aluminium radiator is so large, it's equal to two rows in a copper/ brass one.
