Another question about FIPL sensor

Hey guys...as my nick indicates I am new to diesels but so far I have been able to do a lot of repairs myself thanks to you guys. So, this is my question for the week...

My transmission has sloppy-slippery shifts under fairly heavy acceleration. Could this be from the FIPL sensor. I have read the thread about replacing and setting the sensor, and thought that could be the problem. Also, where is it? Does anyone have a photo of it?

I have one other question. I notice a vibration when I am in overdrive and accelerate slightly, not enough to make it downshift. Does this sound like a u-joint issue?

Thanks for any help you can provide..
