Re: any one heard from ken recently

This same story has been told time and time again. The man has a long history of not providing products in a timely manner.

Someone will come along and say "Oh he's busy with XXX right now, give him a little time". Then an argument will ensue and the thread will be locked.

Hint, if you cannot reach a business by telephone during normal business hours, within a few tries, they are NOT a legitimate business and should not be dealt with.

Re: any one heard from ken recently

Couldn't agree more. And when it comes to inj. pumps, instead of dealing with a mess like that, anyone with brain #1 does what the big boys do---you phone your nearest heavy truck shop or ag tractor shop and ask the shop foreman who they prefer to send their pumps out to locally for repair/overhaul and then you do likewise. Our shop sent out literally 100's of pumps off everything from Cat dozers to all type truck engines to the same local pump/turbo shop for 15-18 years and we never had a comeback. Then our shop foremen in their infinite wisdom went cheapest bid with some popular production line re-builders and it was a toss-up as to what you were getting quality-wise.

Maybe it's just me, but yes, isn't that a real good clue?

Re: any one heard from ken recently

As a BBB member, I can tell you they don't have any authority over a business that is not a member. All they will do is put him on a list accessible to the public.

Check with the postmaster, I think it falls under mail fraud even if it was an internet payment. Full disclosure, I'm not a lawyer but am a member of a forum with a lot of buying and selling going on. Postmaster general usually handles it.

Re: any one heard from ken recently

As a business owner, I laugh at the BBB. I had a guy file a complaint because a $500 91 Cadillac I sold him ended up needing work (duh).

My bet is Ken won't care either. If he has short shipped and cannot be reached, do a chargeback against him through your credit card. THAT will get his attention since his credit card processor has a fee for the chargeback.

Re: any one heard from ken recently

Deal with eguages and you wont have a single problem. It seems Ken is losing popularity.
