ATTN: xplr400 - Banks Downpipe......
I just got off the phone with Banks and ordered a downpipe for our 94' IDI Turbo diesel. Verified part number 52103 is the correct part number for our application. He did mention that they have about 16 of them in stock (-1 now that I ordered one). He did speculate that they may not be making them anymore as they are not listed in the new Banks catalog. Not sure if this is the gospel truth or not.....so take it for what it's worth. If you plan on getting one, I'd get order one soon.
I did not get the gentleman's name I was speaking with. When I asked him, he said that any person you would speak with should be able to help you. I told him that there were others that were gettign the run-around when trying to order this piece and he said that as long as you quote them the part number listed above and tell them it is for an IDI factory turbo diesel there shouldn't be a problem.
