Aux Fuel tank

I am looking into buying a F250. Just curious if anyone has put in an aux fuel tank in the bed. I want one that transfers to the standard tank as fuel is used. Just kinda curious about costs and feasability (SP?).

Thanks

Although pricey, it is feasible. This may interest you:

Re: Aux Fuel tank

I guess the big thing I have heard/read about is the legality of freeflowing from the aux tank to the regular tank....anyone in the know?

Re: Aux Fuel tank

I don't know about free flowing being illegal, but that red stuff can cause a stir with your local Barney Fife!

Re: Aux Fuel tank

Ive never tried the automatic transfer kind, i have an older transfer-flow in the bed. It just has a toggle switch that wired right in to the dual tank selector. It works great i hardly ever use the stock tanks just the aux.
