My vehicle was running great!!! Stopped for the night, didnt drive next day.
Tried to start the following day: No wait to start light. I checkd the GPs as some had suggested on other posts-- 2 were bad. replaced them and GP controller. JUst happened to read about Fuel shutoff solenoid and remembered i heard no clicking so I checked it. BAD ..no biggie replaced it. Buttoned everything back up still no wts light.
So I used a dormant switch i had already installed to run a switched hotwire to the fss. NOW everything works like it should.
Did i just backfeed a bad switch? Or is there a fuseable link in there somewhere.
Thanks for any response to these questions.
This is such a great board for information.

Check your fuses in the engine compartment box.... check Maxi fuse K 20amp..... look under the lid for a schematic. It handles all those that your having problems with FSS CTA CIS ETS and GP controller.

Sent you a PM........... did you check the engine wiring harnes plug at the drivers fender that is where the power goes through. Have you checked the fuseible links on the starter relay (fender).
One very important point....... is the controller grounded to a very good ground......... a head (back side), intake bolt....... there should be a special one installed for it.... threaded at both ends.
