Banks VS TransGo (E40D reprogram)

Anyone have any insight on the two reprogrammers? Banks is a bit mroe expensive... wondering if theres a big difference

I been out of the tranny game a while, but last I knew the transgo kit is like the old shift kits, it replots fluid flow. The Banks is a true electronic programmer, and as I understand it, they just plug in series with the tranny harness and intercept signals and modify them, like raising the line pressure and such. Transgo, you pull the pan and get dirty. Banks, you plug and go.

Ah ok its just a standard shift kit that they call a "reprogramming" kit.
