I've gotten excellent results from Ford's additive (easier starts, less smoke, more power & better fuel mileage) ~$8.00 bottle treats 125 gallons. Warm & cold weather formulas. However, I'm sorta new at this, so does anyone concur or disagree? still learning...

HEY YOU FELLOW CANADIANS!!!!

Hey fellow Canadians!! Im not sure how many of you know of this product yet, but...Im just starting to get into Milligan Diesel Fuel conditioner. Its "grown" in Foam Lake Saskatchewan. A pure canola based product.
After a double dose in two tanks, im starting to notice an increase in fuel economy. And from what I hear...the lubricity of the product is great!!
its a 1000:1 additive. I only add a couple ounces per tank; making it cheaper than Stanadyne, and about the same as Howes and Power Service.

I will be switching from Howes to Milligan for good... Proud to support a small town Canadian prarie product

I use Walmart Tech 2000 Marine 2-cycle oil. It costs about $11.00 a gallon. I put in about a quart everytime I fill up. I generally fill up at the same place everytime too. It's been working great, but recently I have the advance on the IP "sticking" a little. I gave it a double does last time I filled up, hoping the "sticking" was related to moisture or something environmental. We've had some crazy weather the past few weeks (rain/snow, 5 degrees to 50 degrees).

I cleared my sticking advance by filling the filter with SeaFoam. Warmed the engine up and then swapped the fuel out with the SeaFoam. Ran it for about 2-3 minutes, shut off and let it sit for an hour or two. Then started and idled for about 3 minutes, then took it to the freeway and drive it like I stole it!! no problems anymore

I stopped using the two stroke oil it may be good for injector lube but it made my truck hard to start. the fuel additives with cetane makes the truck start faster. Here's some test results

CONCLUSIONS:

Products 1 through 4 were able to improve the unadditized fuel to an HFRR score of 460 or better. This meets the most strict requirements requested by the Engine Manufacturers Association.
Products 1 through 9 were able to improve the unadditized fuel to an HFRR score of 520 or better, meeting the U.S. diesel fuel requirements for maximum wear scar in a commercially available diesel fuel.
Products 16 through 19 were found to cause the fuel/additive blend to perform worse than the baseline fuel. The cause for this is speculative. This is not unprecedented in HFRR testing and can be caused by alcohol or other components in the additives. Further investigation into the possibilities behind these poor results will investigated.
Any additive testing within +/- 20 microns of the baseline fuel could be considered to have no significant change. The repeatability of this test allows for a +/- 20 micron variability to be considered insignificant.
